Copy the video URL. Open the video, reel, story, or clip on its original platform (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and 20+ others are supported), tap the Share button, and select "Copy Link".
Paste it into VidDown Pro. Go to the matching downloader page (or just use the box on the homepage — it auto-detects the platform), paste the link into the input box, and click Download.
Save your file. Within a few seconds you will see one or more download options (by quality, or separate items for photo/video carousels). Click Download on the one you want, and the file saves directly to your device — no watermark, no sign-up.
Tips
Only public content can be downloaded — private accounts, private videos, and login-gated content are not accessible, and that is by design (we respect each platform's own privacy protections).
Some platforms (like Vimeo, Reddit, X) merge audio and video on our server before your download is ready — this can take up to 30 seconds for longer clips.
If a download fails, double check the link is copied correctly and the content is still public — a quick retry often works if a platform was temporarily rate-limiting.
